Jeremy Hopkins

Jeremy Hopkins has been interested in foreign missions for most of his life. In 2017 he graduated from UBC with a BA in Missions/Pastoral Ministry. God used UBC greatly in his life—not only in missionary preparation but also in spiritual preparation. Honduran classmates encouraged him to visit their country. It took very little time in Honduras for him to fall in love with the people there. In the fall of 2017 he began teaching at Union Bible Academy while also working on an MEd in Teaching and Learning from Bob Jones University.

After college Jeremy continued taking several short-term trips to Honduras. With each trip he felt God giving him a deeper passion for the souls there. Jeremy was accepted as an HIM missionary in February of 2020 and is currently traveling on deputation. In Honduras he will be mentoring new believers and making disciples of Christ. His passion is to show God’s love to those who are lost and hurting. He desires to accomplish this by implementing intentional discipleship, training national leaders, planting churches, and providing educational needs to the impoverished.
